Delightful Layout

Hi DLS Design friends,

Thanks for joining me today ! I’m happy to be here with you on the DLS Design blog.

I have prepared a step by step guide to make a layout with the Delightful collection and more precisely with the scrap kit.

Do you agree with me? We're in love with Delightful, right? These colors and papers are just amazing!

I started by tracing a circle with a plate in a printed paper and then cut it out.

I placed this printed frame on a white cardstock.

I added a background design with the kit stencil and Distress Oxide Saltwater Taffy ink.

I matted my photo with several pieces of printed paper. For this, I used the 6x8 Delightful Paper Pad.

I really like to use the Paper Pads when I need small pieces of paper.

I added some stitching around my circle before adhering it to my background. This adds texture to the layout.

I added 3D adhesive foam all around my printed frame then adhered it to the white cardstock.

The volume brought will allow to slide elements under the printed paper.

Then I cut foliage with dies from Denim cardstock and slipped them under the printed paper. I added some Delightful die-cuts all around to bring contrast.

I created my title with the Gilmo alphabet stamps Outline and Shadow and the alphabet sticker from the kit.

I love creating my titles by mixing fonts, materials and colors.
