Delightful Travel Album
I like to plan my album’s pages in advance.
When I do my regular PL, I craft without planning, as the photos and events come. But when I do special albums such as travel albums or December stories, I love to do some pages that I just have to complete later.
As soon as I saw the Delightful kit, I knew I wanted to use it for an album I will make of my family trip to Napoli, Italy.
I already made an intro page with some Simple Stories papers and some acetate pockets from a previous DLS kit. Then, I choose the Delightful papers I love the most and cut them to the right formats.
The stamp in this month's kit was perfect to use with those hotel key die shapes and I added some details with the travel stamp from Summer Stories 2020. (https://dlsdesignshop.com/products/clear-stamp-summer-stories)
I finished these pages with some ephemeras and stickers.
The next step was to choose my photos formats. I cut blank papers and put them where I will add my pictures later.
It helps me focus on the journaling when I come home after my trip and to assemble my album easier and faster. Also, when I take pictures during the trip, I try to take them both horizontally and vertically and have more possibilities when I print them in the formats I want.
The last part is always the funnier. I select the ephemeras I love the most (there are always so many in the DLS kits 😍) and add them to my pages.
I feel confident that those pages will match my Italy photos so perfectly!
Do you ever plan some pages in advance?
