DLS Design respects your privacy and is committed to making shopping via our websites as pleasant as possible, but above all as safe as possible.
DLS Design handles the data you provide to us with care. The personal data you enter is treated confidentially and is not provided to or sold to third parties.
Personal data we process
DLS Design processes personal data because you use our services as a customer and/or because you have provided this data to us yourself.
Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:
- First and last name
- Address
- Phone number
- E-mail address
Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are under 16 years of age, unless they have permission from their parents or guardian.
However, we cannot verify if a visitor is over 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent.
If you are convinced that we have collected personal data of a minor without this permission, please contact us via our customer service so that we can delete this information.
For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?
DLS Design processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- Sending our newsletter and/or advertisements;
- To be able to contact you by telephone or e-mail if this is necessary to carry out our services;
- To inform you about changes to our services and products;
- To offer you the possibility to create an account, view your order history, and create a wishlist;
- To deliver ordered products and services to you.
Automated decision-making
DLS Design does not make decisions based on automated processing that could have (significant) consequences for you. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems without an employee of DLS Design being involved.
How long we store personal data
DLS Design does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the goals for which the data was collected.
We store customer data for as long as the customer has an account with us. As long as you have an account with DLS Design, you can, for example, place orders that can be delivered by DLS Design. In addition, you can view your purchase history.
Sharing personal data with third parties
DLS Design does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it when necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.
We enter into a processor agreement with companies that process your personal data on our behalf to ensure that your data is protected to the same level and remains confidential. DLS Design remains responsible for these processing operations.

DLS Design uses cookies. You will be informed about this when visiting our website.
Viewing, changing, or deleting data
As a customer, you have the right to view or correct your personal data. You can do this yourself via your personal account.
In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by our company.
You also have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data that we have on file about you in a computer file to you or another organization designated by you.
Would you like to exercise your right to object and/or right to data portability, or do you have other questions/comments about the processing of your personal data? Then please send a clearly specified request to our customer service.
To ensure that the request was made by you, we ask that you send a copy of your identification document with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, the MRZ (Machine Readable Zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), the passport number, and the Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy.
DLS Design will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks at the latest.
DLS Design would also like to point out that you have the possibility to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
How we protect personal data
DLS Design takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized alteration.
