DLS Design was born out of a passion for creating and preserving life's moments; a passion that literally started in a small room.

In 2006, Michelle, the founder and owner of DLS Design, started Scrapdelight as a side job alongside her studies. What began as a small enterprise grew into a full-time business in 2008. A year later, we moved to our first real location and doubled it in 2010. We had a shop and webshop, gave workshops, attended trade fairs, were open six days a week, and shipped throughout Europe.

When demand also grew for ready-made kits, we started offering online workshops and kits. This grew more and more, and in 2014, with Little Miss Evie, we took the first step in designing our own products for them.

Document Life Stories (DLS) was born as a monthly kit club, and when it grew rapidly alongside Scrapdelight, it was time to give it its own name. DLS Design was therefore born at the beginning of 2017, named after exactly what we had been working towards all that time: Document Life Stories. Helping people capture their life stories.

The years that followed were not always easy. In 2018, we moved to our current premises in Linschoten, and barely a month after opening, Michelle was diagnosed with cancer. Shortly after, a pandemic also closed our doors twice. A time full of challenges, but also a moment to look at where your passion truly lies.

We came out of it stronger, with a clearer picture of what really mattered, and in 2022 we made a difficult decision: to put Scrapdelight on pause and put all our energy into DLS Design. That same year, Lily Loves Paper and Paper Memories joined Little Miss Evie as sister brands of DLS Design.

Today, DLS Design is home to four brands, united by one goal: to give your memories a place. Our shop in Linschoten, a bright space of 260 m², brings our own collections together with a carefully curated selection of paper, albums, and other supplies. A place to browse at your leisure and find inspiration. And we do all this ourselves. Behind DLS Design is a small, dedicated team that does everything themselves, from initial sketch to final sale, with love and craftsmanship.

Everything to help you capture all those moments, big and small!

We may not have a suitable vacancy for you at this moment, but that does not mean there is no place for you here. We are always interested in creative people, both for our inspiration team and for our store team!

Feel free to send us an email with your motivation and curriculum vitae. Who knows, you might be sitting at the table with us soon!
